Making bread is quick, easy and very inexpensive! 

I’ll show you how to make several different kinds of breads using various flours, nuts and seeds.
Baguette, breadsticks, pizza dough, we’ll do them all and more. No bread machine or fancy gadgets needed.
We will cover basic equipment, how to grind your own whole wheat flour, ingredients, tips + techniques and master recipes. 
Yes, you can have artisan bread every night, baked by YOU! 
The class will include:
• Recipes
• Mix your own batch of bread dough (to take home)
• Hands-on baking techniques for several varieties of bread
• Eating what we’ve baked 
• Sip wine and enjoy each other’s company!

Be one of Fifty Friends to ring in the new school year! Join your hosts, the Feely, Graves, Grossman, Lee-Kniser, and Zobeck-Lien families to re-connect after summer break. Beer, wine, and a variety of sweet and savory treats will be served, while you relax at the Graves' historic home (recently featured on an episode of Grimm!) Adults only. This festive bash will be held the first Saturday after school begins, on August 29, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. We will look forward to seeing you there!

Dan Pereyo, beer educator and Point Blank Distributing Representative will give a brief talk on the process of breewing beer, followed by an intro on how to taste the beer and take you on a tasting journey, comparing and contrasting different styles of beer while you enjoy small plates of deliciousness prepared by Roseway Heights parent Jennifer Blake.

Please join Amy Nist, Antje Gillard, Heather Roberts and Cheryl Robert, for Chick Flick Movie night! The festivities will begin at 6:30 and take place at Amy Nist's home. Antje will be serving up some amazing cocktails, and Cheryl and Heather will be feeding you an array of yummy snacks! Movie TBD. Saturday June 6th, 2015.

Eric Skye occupies a unique niche. Most often billed as a jazz guitarist, he actually plays in an eclectic and original style, exploring areas between jazz, americana, and blues, all threaded together with a healthy respect for the groove, and a love of unadulterated acoustic tone. Skye’s latest release, A Different Kind Of Blue -a solo acoustic guitar re-imagining of the iconic Miles Davis record Kind Of Blue- was officially acknowledged and by the Miles Davis estate and named in Acoustic Guitar magazine’s top ten albums of 2012. June 5, 2015- 6pm- Amy Nist's house. Please bring an appetizer to share and something to drink. Adults only please.

Join Mrs. Aase for a lovely luncheon in her own garden. Light snacks and drinks will be served. May 16th at 12 noon.   

What does a Wesen have for dinner? Anything it wants. But eight of YOU will enjoy a delicious multi-course meal prepared by the Graves, Batty-Schmitt, and Mulder-Wright families. Served at the Graves home, where a recent episode of Grimm was filmed, both carnivorous Jagerbars and vegetarian Blutbaden will find something to their taste. Join us at 5:30 pm on Saturday, May 30, to see what we've cooked up for you in our own Spice Shop!

Sixty guests will enjoy a private barn-style party room for the evening. This is a Bring Your Own Picnic Event. The crew at Kruger's will take you on a joy ride around the farm aboard a tractor-pulled trolley car. Guests will also enjoy a moonlight corn maze excursion. Saturday September 26th from 6:00 pm until the cows come home! Price is per family up to 5 people.This is a family event.

Drop those kiddos off at school on Monday May 18th, then head over to Antje's house! The auction Sheba's will be serving up quiche and mimosas so come and dip your bill. 8-10:30...or 2:15.

Join Mrs. Davidson for an afternoon outing in her neighborhood! Six students will meet at Mrs. Davidson's house, then head over for some fun at Laurelhurst Park. Once we've worked up an appetite we'll enjoy a light snack before making our way to the local gelato shop, and back home. Third graders only please. This will take place on a weekend in early June.

“Saturday with Mrs. Goodrich” is a huge day of adventure. There will be a hike up the Marquam Nature Trail to OHSU, a ride down to the tram, a streetcar trip to the PSU Farmer’s Market, followed by lunch and relaxing at the Goodrich house. Trip is limited to 12 children in grades 4-5. A suggestion that kids bring about $10 to shop at the Farmer’s Market. Saturday May 16th. Time will be 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Build your own scarecrow. An afternoon of autumn fun, including designing and building your own scarecrow and hanging with friends. Light autumn themed snacks and adult beverages included. Date Sunday October 4th.
